Stuffy. Boring. Same-Old-Same-Old. Just Plain Old.
Please disregard those words. They are N-O-T relevant. Not really…
What do I do when I find myself in a stagnant pit? So I don’t have one perfect answer, but I do know this…
I can choose. Yep, you heard that right. I can choose to wallow in that “comfortable” pit. Or I can choose to find a way—a way out of an impossibility mindset. More on that later.
I can’t resist bridges. They are perfect for standing on and gazing at the beautiful creek below. And there is always something interesting on the other side. I think I will find out!
And who is that lumberjack on the Three Forks bridge? What is he musing about, gazing at Noontootla Creek? (Okay, so that is my husband, Scott, and he is probably just wondering what we will have for dinner after we drive back home.)
What about that road? There are probably some ruts ahead. Should I find my brave? I think that Punk’n would agree that I should move forward.
Yes, I can choose. I can follow that bridge. Follow that road. Take that path. I can get out of that pit. What freedom! What healing! I can choose…
